Rubicon commentedAndover is home, so I thought I'd mention a few spots. The Depot Skate Park, a better than average metal GBH park. Roman Way skate park, a not so pleasing park. Walworth Industrial Estate, loads to skate up there. Main attractions are the drops. 2 different spots. The first is dope, just 2 roads one of which drops away gradually. Starts from nothing and drops to about 3 feet. Smooth and a dope place to learn stuff. A minutes walk and you got the killer drops. Pro stuff right there. 3 seperate drops. Drops over flower beds and walls from car park to car park. From about 8 feet to 12 feet. Sick stuff. Across the road is a koston block sort of thing. Really sick with a dirty British run up but worth the skate. Portway Industrial area... the Portway school near by has a yellow flat bar going down an elongated 2 stair double set... pretty basic but popular with the nippers. Town Centre is host to about 10 car parks all with mani pads. Middle of town supports 2 curved wooden benches. Hard to skate but after about 12 inches of wax they're sick. Final zone would be the leisure centre. Recently re-vamped. Small banks with a lip... and a new block over a grass gap... not even waxed yet but again may need a healthy coating. The back tail pic would be worth it! Other spots are around but tricky to find or even describe. Andover is dope if ya take your own angle iron every where and some glue and a broom. Go to the park first and steal a local to show you around. Laterz
